No period for months - Not pregnant. Help?

My little girl was born in Septmeber 2020 and after she was born my periods went back to relatively normal after a few months. Since around February this year I haven't had a period at all. I am on the pill again now but it's the same one I was always on before getting pregnant and after having my daughter and always had semi-regular periods every 5 weeks or so, but they have just stopped completely.

The reason it has flagged concern for me is because I had my smear results come back over the weekend and it has a positive result for HPV, but they found no abnormal cells at the moment but want to see me again in a year. I know that this is fairly common but it has made me more aware of the lack of period. I am going to book in to see the GP but has anyone experiences something similar?

Thanks in advance for any responses x

Don't panic about this situation, this will happen due to hormone imbalance. So don't fear about your health condition. Please seek your doctor help, surely you will get good health results. Because I also saw these type of one incident in my family members. So don't worry.

I don't know if this is anything to worry about or not, but I do know the most sensible thing is to have it all checked out straight away. I had irregular periods for a while, then they stopped altogether. My GP kept saying it was probably stress. She sent me for tests once a month for ages - complete waste of time. It turned out I had raised prolactin hormone (a small tumor on pituitary gland but not as scary as that sounds) which had stopped my periods, but can be treated with medication. Say to your GP you want a referral to a fertility centre. The consultants there should know about the hormone (endocrine) side of things as well as other stuff. Tell them everything. They will do all the tests they need immediately. My advice: don't take no for an answer from your GP on this. Get checked out and set your mind at rest. It will probably be fine. xxx
