I keep having allergic reactions to any eye makeup I wear .. only clears up with not wearing anything

Any recommendations for makeup that won't irritate or do I need to see a dermatologist?

It will depend exactly what chemical is causing the reaction. My MIL is allergic to an ingredient in lipstick that makes it shiny!
Look up hypoallergenic make up brands and maybe just buy one product and try it alone to see if it reacts. Unfortunately you may find it's a combination of triggers so you may need to keep trying!
Can you try some alternatives like dying your eyelashes so you can stop using mascara?
Or get used to your face without makeup..

Curel cleanser really helps me.
Whenever I get covid it
gives me excema on my eyelids.

also make sure you rinse micellar water off your face if you use it.

It might be your makeup remover. I can't use anything too oily if my skin is being sensitive. I'm fine with Liz Earle wash off cleanser.
Also, I can't have a fringe, as it aggravates my eyelid skin.
A friend is allergic to any purple eye makeup, something in the colouring makes her flare up.

Completely depends what you are allergic to (assuming that's what it is).

Turns out I am allergic to cetearyl alcohol. Which is considered a safe, gentle, non-irritating ingredient and is in lots of "hypo allergenic" and "sensitive" products.

You can be allergic to anything. You either need to patch test. Or strip everything right back and start testing individual products.

Bear in mind that if this is an allergy it's likely a type IV which is a delayed reaction allergy. So you need to wait 3-5 days after exposure to check for a reaction.

It's also possible it is an irritant reaction. If I use vitamin c products on my eye lids, I get dry, red, itchy, eczema type, skin there. I am not allergic to vitamin c it's just the skin is thin and sensitive on the eyes so can't cope with actives such as vitamin c.
