What do these blood tests mean

Have posted already in Menopause but thought there might be more traffic here.

I've been diagnosed with early menopause following chemo 10 years ago. My gynae has however just sent through my blood results and I am a little unclear. My progesterone is very low but my other results seem to be within the normal range for the part of my cycle when the bloods were taken (around day 6).

My FSH was 4.1 (range was 3.5-12.5)
My LH was 3.1 (range was 2.4-12.6)
Ostraediol was 70 (26.7 - 156)
Oestrogen was 60 (37-178).

My progesterone however was under 0,1 (couldn't be measured).

Any thoughts? Could I have low progesterone for some totally unrelated reason? I have been under a lot of stress and exercise hard daily. I am a healthy weight, albeit on the low side and have low body fat. My other blood work (vitamins, cholesterol etc) was tip top: my GP couldn’t see anything I needed to improve or change.

I have regular, 'normally heavy’ (5-7 days) periods. I had chemo 10 years ago for ovarian cancer and lost the diseased ovary and tube. Since then I had three children in five years naturally with no issues. I had bloods done since I was getting bad PMS (abroad so private healthcare): very strong mood swings mainly, minimal physical symptoms.

I am seeing my gynae on Wednesday but would be grateful for any insight anyone could give in advance! Thank you.

Blood tests during peri are useless. That's because you are only starting the process so some months, your levels will be within the norm.

It is normal to have no progesterone after 6 days as progesterone is only released after ovulation.

So these are normal results for someone aged 40 (since I assume a lot of women aged 40 are in peri??)?
