Ds & dd both have these and we've left them alone. Near the end of their appearances they've become itchy and have been scratched making them much worse and in ds1's case, disgustingly infected. This had to be popped to let the pus out and covered and kept clean, but after this short period, they heal and disappear completely. They were there a long time before getting itchy though - at least six months. Dd still has quite a few 'young' ones but she's much better at not scratching and has left them alone when the head comes on them - they eventually got a bit red, then dropped off and healed by themselves. Have not used anything on them and they have eventually gone away.

Dd has had molluscum for ages, about 2yrs, I think, but the last blobs are on their way out, hurrah! I didn't do anything with them, the dr said there isn't any treatment. Only the bigger ones got red and infected and that was a prelude to their disappearance. The smaller ones just seem to vanish. Dd still has eczema in her elbow crease but it doesn't bother her much.

Coddy - I think ds1's became pussy because he scratched it when it was itchy (this was only after he'd had it for months and it hadn't annoyed him at all during this time) and I daresay his nial's probably weren't the cleanest they could have been! They had reached a kind of cresendo by that stage - got bigger and reddish with a bit of a head - that's when they got scratched. They went away straight after they healed from the infection though.
With dd, having dealt with ds's, she was under strict instructions not to scratch and she did really well but did give in to the itch and it got a bit sore, but nowhere near as bad as ds's - I cleaned it and covered it for a few days and it got bigger and redder and then finally went away almost overnight. Sounds like your ds's are on their way out, so now would be the time to try and prevern any scratching/picking - my feeling is that that's when they spread more easily. (don't quote me on that though)!
