Worried about rectal bleeding

I have been experiencing a small amount of blood in my stools on and off over the past few months. Seems to only happen when I have a ‘looser’ movement and when I have held in the urge to go (as hate pooping when not at home). The blood usually appears to be on the last part of the movement rather than all
of it. Appears to be brightish red and sometimes accompanied by a bit of mucus. Haven’t lost any weight, no significant change in bowel movements or pain etc. Had a colonoscopy 8 years ago when I had rectal bleeding before and was diagnosed with internal hemorrhoids. Bleeding seems different this time though, last time it appeared as bright red on the tissue and in the toilet bowl as opposed to on the stool itself. I’ve seen a specialist and on examination told me he thought he could feel a couple of internal piles. When I have a ‘normal’ poo, the bleeding doesn’t seem to happen. Am I being silly for still being so worried? Am waiting for a date for colonoscopy as Dr was thorough and wanted to be sure (probably also saw how anxious I was and wanted to put my mind to rest) but I can’t stop worrying it’s something serious. I have two beautiful children, the youngest being only 9 months old and I’m terrified of leaving them. Has anyone had anything similar and it just been piles? Thanks in advance for any advice/support xx

Anyone? I would really appreciate it if anyone had a similar story to mine and a happy ending

I've not had any experience of this but my dd14 has. She had blood in her stools without weight loss, she had a colonoscopy and has been diagnosed with Crohn's disease. Her blood was bright red too with mucus.
Hope you get some answers soon
