I have bought DD one for her uni room as she suffers with dust/ pet allergies which was particularly bad last year. Just wondered how long the filters tend to last, does anyone know? Thanks.

What brand do you have you didn't say?

I have personally gone with AirDoctor (Amazing Air in the UK). They target much smaller particles (microns) with an Ultra HEPA filter, compared to other filters so they manage to capture almost 100% of viruses and bacteria too (which was a concern for me). It honestly feels like clean outside air, and I will never be without it again.

After buying mine I have now got an affiliate code for £200 off (as I love them so much!)

Here's the link: Click here or go to Amazing Air's website and use the code HEALINGJIGSAW xx

Wanted to add the below graphic too, which really sold it for me! It's important to look at microns when purchasing a filter!

They usually last around 6 months but it does depend on how much she uses it. I have got a couple of HEPA filters. The particular models I have, have got an indicator that will flash when it needs replacing (after so many hours usage). They're fab for allergies and will also reduce spread of airborne viruses, worth her knowing so she can put it on if she has any friends in her room with her too.
