It's horrific. I will just get an 'attack' of itching and if I'm in public, I will have to excuse myself to the loo for a scratch Blush it is horrendous and ruining my quality of life

It's so itchy.

I thought maybe lichen schelroisis (excuse spelling), but it isn't on the labia or outside the vagina etc?

It's on the mon pubis I think?

I'm so desperate I've attached an image, and name changed

The area is definitely a different colour (more white) but it isn't like eczema where you'd get dry skin etc. it's smooth

Any advice would be so appreciated. I'm desperate

Is it a recent change ?

Have you shaved or used hair removing cream ?

And finally, are you peri-menopausal?

You could see if your nurse / GP could prescribe you something.

Could it be a fungal infection on the skin in that area? Like jock itch or something? Maybe try an anti fungal cream?

If it’s eczema, that can be itchy, I get patches on my neck and find the best thing is actually coconut oil to moisturise it. (Occasionally steroid cream, but I try not to use it tbh)

If I’m doubt see if you can get an appointment with your GP.

I've had it about 6 months I'd say

No recent changes. No change in what I use for a shower etc. I had laser hair removal 5 years ago so not shaving rash

I don't think I could be pre menopausal, I'm only 26

Try not to scratch it, you can start an itch scratch cycle and it makes it much worse … Try applying a cold compress to ease itching instead.

See your gp, they’ll hopefully refer you to a dermatologist- mine was a tiny white patch it was psoriasis though I had psoriasis nowhere else. Lotriderm cream used sparingly stops the itch (it’s a steroid cream) Good Luck
