Angina? Does this sound like it?

Can anyone help please? I will contact my GP tomorrow but wanted to see if anyone had any idea of what this could be.

I'm nearly 30 weeks pregnant and for the past 2ish months at least once a week I experience this.

It's usually when I'm bending forward or picking something up but I get the WORST pain behind my right breast into my back and down into my armpit to the point I can't move at all for around 10 minutes each time and it hurts to breathe in. After rest it completely goes.

A few examples; when I clean the bath out and bend forward it will happen and I have to sit on the floor until it eases and today I was bending forward to get a bottle of water from a multipack and as I was pulling at the plastic it happened and I had to sit down for 15 minutes.

I kept thinking it was a muscle cramp each time but it happened badly again today and I've gone on google and worried myself that it's now heart related.

I will call my GP in the morning but I just wanted to know if anyone has every experienced this? It's only ever on my right side which is the side I use the most.

No, that does not sounds like angina. It sounds like muscular pain.

If the pain occurs in relation to posture or movement, and goes away when you stop bending over - I agree, probably muscular not cardiac. But do get it checked.

Muscular and likely due to all the relaxin in your body coupled with the extra weight etc from baby. But agree, better to get checked Smile and congratulations on your pregnancy!

Angina is pain on exertion which eases on rest. Unstable angina is when the pain is no longer controlled. But definitely get it checked.

My first thought was gerd, or reflux but muscular makes sense too

Paramedic here. Definitely does not sound like angina, don't worry. Get a check up with GP to reassure you
