Giving MMR when poorly with a cold?

DD (14ths) is due her MMR tomorrow. I've had to reschedule it twice as she was poorly. Doctors advise is "not whilst ill". Now she is on the tail end of a cold (over the worst, but still quite snotty and bit of a cough). Instinct tells me to wait until she is fighting fit to have it. Thing is I can't see that happening as it seems to be one cold after another at the moment.

Any advice? Do I wait for spring and end of cold season!

I would not let her have the vaccine if she has a cold.

wait until 100% better and fully recovered, her immune system should be better in the warmer months anyway

I too was advised to wait and did wait until mine was 100% better. Then had it and he was fine.

I would wait until she's 100%.

(I'm a practice nurse and prefer to vaccinate healthy children!)

A bit of a cough wouldn't bother me, but a runny nose and being off colour isn't ideal.

She's only 14 months so waiting a little longer won't hurt.

Brilliant - thanks for that. Wanted to be sure I wasn't just being an over-protective first time mum!
