Liver function test + pelvic pain - what’s the link?

Evening all

ive suffered from really bad SI pelvic joint pain since having my children (1 born in 2020
and 1 born in July this year). I describe it as the joints actually feel badly bruised, inflamed and sore to touch. They feel like they tug and pull too when I bend over. I’ve been seeing a physio, and an osteopath. However at my post natal check my GP sent me for bloods to check lots of things. Part of this checked my liver.

2 of my liver checks came back slightly high and is abnormal and the doctor wants to see me in person. When I spoke to the receptionist who gave me the results on the phone, she said the GP put a note saying for me to make an appointment so we can determine what’s causing the higher liver test levels. It was a different doctor that reviewed my results than who referred me to the test, and the one that reviewed my results also put a note querying whether I’ve had any pelvic issues (off the back of the liver results), which I do and is obviously the reason for the blood test in the first place.

I’ve got an appointment for Friday to see the GP. however I’m just wondering if anyone knows what the link would be with the liver and pelvic pain? Google doesn’t really help. Does anyone know or have any knowledge in this area?

Thanks!
