Over 50’s teeth straightening ?

Has anyone over 50 had their teeth straightened ?
I think I’d need all my wisdom teeth out, which is massive for me in itself, I’m a nervous patient. But I wondered if it’s worth doing at this age, or will it just cause more problems ?

As long as you have a healthy mouth, no gum disease etc… there’s no reason why you can’t have braces

I had my mine done in my mid 50's with train-track style braces. I'm so pleased with the results even though it took about 18 months and cost £3k.

Find a good orthodontist who you 'click' with.

I’m currently on an Invisalign course, it’s easy, painless but expensive.
I am 59.
Yes it’s worth it.

It’s Invisalign that I was thinking of.
Does it affect your speech ? I need to speak to the public at work.

I had mine straightened at 63 with invisalign. Think had a slight lisp but not for long.
