Hi
Has anyone got any suggestions for getting trapped water out of my ear?
It happened whilst I was in the bath 5 days ago.
Thanks for any replies.

It might just be wax that has shifted, water should have run out if you held you head on the side. You could try tipping your head sideways and giving your ear lobe a gentle tug if you think it really is still water.

Place a thumb and finger over your nostrils and blow your nose hard, the popping in your ears may release what is stuck in there. Laying on the side of the trapped ear can help the gravity.

Put your head upside down and then tilt to the side the water is on and it should come straight out. You might find it easier if you lay on the bed and hang your head over the side

There are drops you can get for that called swim eze. They help evaporate the water I think. You'll find them on amazon, maybe boots etc.

You can get ear drops for swimmers ear. We got some last weekend for DS as he was in pain with it. Obvs by the time we got home with them he was right as rain, so if you're in Edinburgh and want a bottle of ear drops for swimmers ear let me know.
