Why does my dry mouth keep making me throw up & how can I stop it?

Had a cough since Easter sometime it made me vomit
Gp thought it might be reflux so I tried omeprazole- it made no difference except my mouth got dry

Stopped the omeprazole and my mouth stayed very dry

So now I have a cough and a dry mouth and I still vomit 2-5 tines a day

Help?

You've been coughing for 6m - has the GP considered asthma? Sent you for a chest x-ray?

Is your nose chronically bunged, or are you breathing through your mouth all the time?

I had the most ridiculously dry mouth after Covid as did my daughter, no amount of water rehydrated me, it's not uncommon.

I did post on here as was getting a little desperate, it resolved after 8 weeks.

Chest xray is clear

Blood tests (3rd lot since covid in October) taken on Friday

Nose is fine; think I breath through it

You should be given a range in those results so you know if any are out then have a look at "Dr Myhill Commonly used blood tests and what they mean" for guidance.

I have super high ferritin and misshapen red blood cells post Covid.

stayathomegardener · 12/09/2022 18:21

Ok I can see the ranges too, thyroid seems off but they are tricky to interpret.

I wish I understood more - I get confused
