Groin issues

Any tips or advice, please?

I'm starting to have real issues with keeping this area dry and the skin intact.

I know there is that long named condition which I cant spell, and I think it may be the beginnings of it.

Even when the areas are dry and comfortable, the skin seems to bubble up and roll off.

Thanks!

Sounds fungal, have you seen your Dr. Or tried canesten type cream from the pharmacist? Go commando cut out carbs?

Yeah canestan heals it up, it's not even sore for much of the time, it's just the skin seems fragile when I'm washing, and sloughs off.

I'm wondering whether to give it a bit of a scrub, or keep up the gentle approach.

Commando, yes.
Carbs, no.

I didn't realise they could make a difference, to be honest.

fungal infections can be a sign of high blood sugars and diabetes. that aside maybe you need to use the antifungal longer and no to scrubbing. keep the area dry as much as possible.

are you overweight?

Damn!
I knew you'd ask that.
Yes I am, and I have the apron of my cesarean to contend with, too.

I definitely don't have diabetes, as I'm having regular blood tests due to an autoimmune disease (?)

I know my fatness doesn't help anything at all, but I've not had the skin rolling off issue before.

I was quite shocked to discover it, because it isn't sore or itchy at all.
