As someone with a chronic autoimmune disease, I spend far too much time having tests and seeing doctors. I am sick of it all (no pun intended).
I have a new collection of irritating symptoms - not sure if to self treat or not - vertigo, pins and needles in hands and feet, extra fatigue, itchiness. It's been 10 days of constant vertigo and I have tried all the BPPV exercises on line - they are not changing anything. I have risked a vitamin B supplement - not sure if you are supposed to take these with autoimmune disease (can't remember why) and I'm not seeing any change.
I had my standard blood cell counts done and will get results yesterday - for liver, kidney and the red, white and platelets. I always have low red cell counts but I had bone marrow checked 15 months ago and that was ok.
I don't think I can face the GP receptionist again - I suspect mild anemia but can't take iron tablets so will try upping the iron in my diet. Any other ideas?
