Possibly low blood sugar symptoms?

Hi all, I’ve been having regular episodes of what I think may be low blood sugar levels (suddenly feeling like I’m going to faint, dizzy & sick, I have to sit /lay down, limbs feel like dead weights, usually hot & sweaty, and craving jelly sweats which I don’t normally like!). It used to happen before my period & I went to see my GP they suggested I was exercising too much & eating too few carbs. Whilst I respect my gp I didn’t feel that was the case, but didn’t want to waste anymore of their time and instead started to keep sweets on me to have one or 2 when I get symptoms.
I’m now 8 weeks pregnant and the symptoms seem to be magnified, today I was being physically sick after symptoms. I finally managed to drink some smoothie and then fell asleep for a few hours (feeling really cold). It sounds dramatic but it’s taken me the whole day to start to feel normal again, including eating carbs, sweets & coke which feels so wrong & unhealthy while pregnant. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what it could be causing it so that I can speak to my gp feeling a little more informed? thanks,

Low blood pressure? I use to get it. My BP is naturally very low. Its also linked to dehydration and sugars. I use to be sick if didn't eat straight away and be exactly as you describe. Was worse in pregnancy. GP use to say 'wow amazing!' When I stood up not dizzy as BP was so low!

Drink lots, eat little and often, get up slowly!

Low blood pressure I have naturally low blood pressure and it was worse when pregnant I had and sometimes still have the symptoms you described

Thank you both. I had wondered if that might be the case, but have never been told I have low bp. I’m already taking a packet of crackers and bottle of water everywhere with me so I’m struggling to see how I can eat / drink more regularly but will certainly try.
did you find it improved after your first trimester once your pregnancy sickness went?

It did improve for me a bit. I fainted in first trimester and was sick as yoi describe a fee times but not after that. My second pregnancy I never had it although very tired- might have been toddler related!
