How much do you ache and how stiff are you? I am convinced the amount of daily aching, stiffness and general tiredness I have is not normal for this age.

I have found I wake up with stiffness yes, but I have been very unfit (although not overweight) all my life, literally never went to a gym. I joined the gym age 40 and have started to exercise. I want to prolong my life and wellbeing. I swim and go on the machines, and jog, and I walk a lot, some days over an hour a day.

So I'm working to remedy it. I don't want to be "old." My child is young, and I still look young, now I'm helping my body (fitness) catch up.

My arches dropped in early 30's and that causes a lot of aches in joints if I don't wear orthotics and sensible shoes.

Largely, am aware of just becoming less flexible. I need to do more exercise to address that, I think

I know people are time strapped.

bit how much time do you spend on screens? (Genuinely - I’m not being goady)

on a busy day I will still try to do a walk and a Lucy Wyndham read seven minute workout

@BeethovenNinth Yup, I do spend too much time on my phone! But it's usually in-between things - so right now I'm catching up on Mumsnet while dinner cooks - not a good chunk of time I could use for exercise. And in the evening I'm so knackered by the time my son's in bed, house is tidy and work done (I work compressed hours) that I'm often just scrolling at 11pm instead of going to bed.

I did do Lucy Wyndham-Read and Yoga with Adrienne for a bit in the new year, it was good to be more active but I didn't feel like made a significant difference to my fitness like getting back to the gym would.
