I've had this for nearly two weeks now and I've had about enough. I was fine when I went to bed on Saturday 30 July but woke up about 3.00am on the Sunday with waves of abdominal pain and that's how it stayed. It's always there, probably a 2 or 3/10 and intermittently it peaks at a level where it feels like labour pains and I have to breathe through it. I'm past menopause and haven't had sex in a long time, so definitely not that!
Bowels are normal, no symptoms of UTI, but it's uncomfortable to pee and when I poo I end up crying - every time - it's just so painful.
I've seen a GP twice. Neither had any clue what it might be. First one advised Buscopan and paracetamol, neither of which had any effect. Second one has ordered a FIT test and referred me for ultrasound, but I can't get an appointment until September. In between those two appointments, I was in so much pain I went to A&E. They couldn't find anything either, but they did give me some proper pain relief - and that's where I'm at.
If anyone has any ideas, I'd be grateful. Nearly two weeks without a proper night's sleep is beginning to get to me. Also can't do much at home and keep getting sent home from work.
Thanks

FIT test was clear, private ultrasound tomorrow.
In the meantime, symptoms are not quite as bad as they were, but it has taken four weeks to get to this point. Last bad episode was ten days ago when I spent most of the evening on the loo in horrible pain, passing bloodstained mucus every ten minutes or so for about five hours,
Thankfully, that has not recurred, but I am losing weight now and have lost my appetite over the last couple of days.
