I am about to suffer excruciating pain - help me avoid it??

Before Christmas I had an infection in my inner ear - quite painful anti-biotics and it got better

Then I got an infection in my outer ear - excruciating pain - I couldn't move, breathe hard, brush my hair anything - it lasted for days even with the drops from the DR. I was taking prescription co-codamol & it wasn't stopping all the pain

Now I have a small pain - but it is in my outer ear not inner, I can tell

Are the drops worth having? Or will it go eventually? Or will my ear drop off [hopeful]

Please help me?

Best thing is to start taking painkillers now and then book yourself into the doctors, you don't want to be in pain over the weekend!!

Oh poo

I was hoping it would just take ages to go away again & the drops were a waste of time

You might be lucky!! but believe me you don't want to be without Ab's if you are not!!!

Tea tree oil and lavender oil might help. Some people drip the tt. and/or lavender drops into the eardrum and this has worked for me. But make sure you test the TT first somewhere less sore--some people find it irritates their skin.

I use Lavander by the bucket full - I'll try that

I have loads atm as I am trying to work out an anti-bac spray with lavander & tea-tree

I'm not so good with neat tea-tree - but I can use it dilute
