I get this on my poor feet every time the temp gets above about 22° and it is sooooo itchy and painful. I treat with hydrocortisone but I'm beginning to think it makes it even worse! Any suggestions? Currently sitting with a bag of frozen peas on the blisters and trying so hard not to scratch myself to ribbons.

Such an interesting thread, all the different approaches people find helpful.

I guess ultimately it's the skins response to something it's unhappy about, and we all have to work out that underlying cause for ourselves- fungus, sweat, stress, shoe fabric...

Ours is definitely mad worse by stress...

I've got a deep seated itch on one arch. It's infuriating, occasionally erupts into a blister, peels then starts again. It's responding to dactakOrt at the moment. Long may that continue.

Elizabeth
I'm so pleased for you. My DP suffered for many years too and his feet are so much better. He used the cream for a couple of weeks so keep going!

I get these on my hands, usually only when I go abroad but now they're back again thanks to the recent heatwave. Does anyone else find that fexofenadine makes them worse? Other antihistamines are fine but that one seems to aggravate my skin. I'll look into lamasil for next time. Applying suncream is definitely a factor in mine too, I've tried just about every "sensitive" suncream out there and same every time.
