Resting heart rate

Hi! My resting heart rate seems to fluctuate from day to day - does anyone else get this? I'm 40, do not smoke or drink, am very active, but I do have stage 2 kidney disease. Blood pressure normal. At it's lowest, my RHR is about 58, then it climbs up daily till it reaches about 60/70, then goes back down again, then repeat. For example, this is it for the past fortnight:

27/06 - 58
28/06 - 60
29/06 - 59
30/06 - 59
01/07 - 60
02/07 - 62
03/03 - 62
04/07 - 63
05/07 - 64
06/07 - 64
06/07 - 64
07/07 - 66
TODAY - 67

If it's worth seeing a doctor about then I will, but I have health anxiety and bother her a lot, so I'd rather not contact her unless I really have to.

mine does this too, it's very normal for women. it's hormone related. it will rise and rise, then on the day of your period it will drop

all seems pretty even to me.
slight variations are normal.
plus smart watches (assuming that where you get the resting pulse from) are not 100% acurate.

Seems perfectly healthy and normal to me. It's not a machine that's exact. Stop measuring it, that's your main problem.

It’s totally normal, even more so for women as it fluctuates with hormone cycles, this is very clear if you look at a Fitbit resting heart rate record.

Someone with health anxiety might be best avoiding such things.

Thanks everyone! I feel better now. My Fit Bit tells me this information, I don't intentionally monitor it, and yes I agree not the best when you have health anxiety but I love it for other things. Thanks again and have a lovely day all xx

Looks quite normal if a bit low. But low is usually ok. Might not be if you’re suffering from a debilitating disease, though.

OP I agree with other poster, not helpful if you have health anxiety. I think you can actually switch the HR monitoring off on a Fitbit.

My resting heart rate varies between 51 and 60 depending on where I am in my cycle.

You can turn this feature off on many types of smart watches if it's worrying you. I have had investigations for palpitations and have a quite large change in my resting heart rate over time, both of which have caused a lot of anxiety, much happier with it switched off!
