Anyone suffer with tinea versicolor?

I've had flares of this on an off since I was a kid but it's starting to become a pain in the arse to shift now.
I normally shower in hibiscrub two or three times a week which has seemed to keep it under control, alternating between that and general shower gels, but now the weather is warmer I'm finding more and more patches and the Hibiscrub doesn't seem to be touching it even when used daily.

I've now ordered some Selsun shampoo. I've tried Daktakort but tbh it's now quite widespread and a tiny tube of cream isn't doing much.
So before I have to run the gauntlet of trying to get a GP appointment, does anyone have anything that works for them that I can try?

Ketoconazole shampoo is commonly prescribed for this, but can be bought otc too. Lather on to affected skin, leave for 5 mins and then rinse off. Repeat daily for 5 consecutive days.

Brilliant, thanks. Worth a shot!
Just ordered some online so I'll see how that goes.

I get this as well and it's so annoying! Selsun is what I use and it always works for me.

I've ordered the Ketoconazole for now, I will report back!
It's been a pain in the arse for most of my life, no sooner can I rid myself of it and it returns. I've not actually tried Ketoconazole before though so I'm hoping that might be my magic solution.
