is background

She's been getting tummy pains for about 6 weeks which Dr diagnosed as colic type pains. he took a urine sample to rule out uti.

This has shown no bacterial infection but there are raised no of white cells in there.

We have to take another sample in tomorrow.

DD is very tired, lethargic, emotionally wobbly and still getting tummy pain 2-3 times a day.

This week she has had 3 no 2. accidents which is unheard of.

I'm worried. The Dr said I should wait and see what the next sample brings and wouldn't commit to anything but my mind is working overtime and I just want DD to be the energetic happy little soul she normally is.

No idea what it might mean, glassslipper, I'm sorry. Just didn't want you to think your post had gone unnoticed.

I'm sure an expert will be along later. In the meantime, try not to worry too much and a big hug if that helps.

xx

I'm not sure but I believe white cells indicate infection.
It could be a kidney infection, which might also cause the other symptoms?
Sorry to be no use but bumping for you x

Thanks. I've just had to wake her from a sleep to give her some cereal for tea (she doesnt want anything else)

I'm hoping it's all just viral to be honest but she just seems so lost at the moment.

white cells indicate infection... she just needs further testing as other factors can affect the result, such as dehydration for example.. or how the test was taken!

it's horrible when they're unwell, hope she feels better soon!
