Anyone else got this virus that's not covid?

I've felt rubbish for days, chesty cough, sore throat, aching all over and just feeling generally unwell.

I've done LFTs over the last few days, all negative. Obviously some other viral thing doing the rounds I haven't felt this crap since covid!

There's another thread discussing what someone called Novid. One poster there got negative tests from nose swabs but swabbing her throat gave a strong positive result.

Interesting… I can’t swab my throat, I just gag.

I tried this the other day and still got a negative result. I feel slightly better today but I still feel rough. I started on Wednesday with this so hopefully I'm beginning to come out of the other side of it.

I’ve had something similar. I felt like I did when I had covid. Negative LFT
