So I have a little boy that's just turned 6 he had a filling in one of his molars 2 moths ago, on the last bank holiday Friday said filling fell out and he was in agony, I took him to an emergency dentist on the Saturday and he had a massive abscess and was given pain relief and antibiotics, we visited his dentist on the Wednesday to have said tooth removed whilst there as you can imagine and 6 year old boy he wouldn't stay still had 1 of the 3 needles needed but refused and more needles as they hurt too much so the dentist refused and referred to the hospital...one week on and he has had more antibiotics as the infection is bad he's on Calpol every 4 hours for nearly 2 weeks and neurofen twice a day also (I hate giving him meds) he sleeps for 2 hours and Wales screaming in pain he's finished school early today due to the pain .... He's been refused an urgent dental hospital referral 3 times and has today been added to a waiting list.... He is 57th in a queue for it to be removed but have been told by the hospital they see 4 children every 2 weeks so they said around a year for waiting list!!!!!! What do we have to do to be sorted I've sat in a & e and turned away as it isn't a trauma to his face..... I've spoken to private dentist and been advised they have a 3 month waiting list and will cost £895 for it to be removed!!!!
