I had conjunctivitis last week, dd (7.5 months) got it yesterday. It has spread to both eyes, poor gooey-eyed lamb. I have the drops I used in the fridge, opened one week ago and used v carefully (no contact with eyes, washed hands etc). Do you think I can use them on dd? she had this a month or two ago and used the same drops.

I wouldn't, even if they are the same drops. Apart from the cross-contamination risk, hers may not have been the same strength as yours.

You have to be really careful with little one's eyes, and I would say you really ought to get her to the GP for her own drops.

i wouldn't. apart from the contamination risk the drops are only suitable for age 2 plus i think (that's what it said on the box i had anyway)

If you are breastfeeding then put some breast milk in her eye. It works wonders!
