scabs on my scalp

I've recently started getting scabs on my scalp. They're not spots and don't feel itchy enough to be bites.
No recent changes to shampoo, beauty products, washing powder or anything else that could explain this sudden onset.
Some of the scabs are very prominent, near the front of my scalp. My hair is thin anyway and I'm rather short so I worry they can be seen by others.
I work in a professional role were a tidy presentable appearance is key. Feel really unsightly with my scalp covered in hideous scabs that I can't even explain!
Anyone suffered with similar?

Go to the GP would seem the most sensible approach. It could be anything from your description. I know my DS had scabs on his scalp which were juicy and it was impetigo

I get them and as you say they look horrible. Mine are itchy and I’ve now been referred to a dermatologist but waiting for an appointment.

We all got them. Changed shampoo and has cleared up.

I get them too, luckily I have a lot of hair so you can't see them. They would probably heal a lot quicker if I didn't spend so much time picking them. See your GP and see if there is a medicated shampoo you can use?

I have them….. not sure if it’s psoriasis . Or Seborrheic kerosis which I do have else where on my body. I would get it checked out with gp or dermatologist.

I get them due to greasy scalp but dry hair means I can't wash it every day. I resorted to head and shoulders (green apple smells lovely and not medicated), that seems to have got rid of them and is cheap as chips. I wash every 3 days and am careful to not use any of the dry hair serums etc on my scalp.

Try Nizoral, you can get it over the counter, or a stronger prescription strength from your G.P.

I get them, I tried all sorts of different shampoos but in the end the only things that works is betnovate on prescription, that clears it up very quickly. I think mine is stress related.
