Shoes for Moderate Bunion and Insoles?

I have some insoles which I put in clarks shoes. (flat feet and one moderate mild/ bunion) However, my bunion which is one one foot is painful at times. I am considering getting new insoles from GP, awaiting appointment. In the meantime are there any shoes that I can buy that will help with the bunion and also I can put in my own insoles? Or are there any shoes with an insole for arch support inside already maybe Ecco?

that's what I wear but I do not have to follow a dress code.

I’m wondering if maybe dr martens are good for bunion feet. Wearing a bunion protector seems like a good idea. I’m just realising I have bunions and looking at what I can do to minimise worsening.

I think DMs would be terrible for bunions as they the leather is so stiff. Soft leather or soft mesh trainers like Skechers much better.

I was told when lacing trainers to not use the bottom holes so to reduce the pressure on the bunion, seems to work.

I wear trainers a lot, I like Asics. I also got some Legero sneakers for work as they are fairly smart.

The key thing for me is no stitching or seams over the bunion area. I put a half insole in all my shoes.
