Excessive sweating

I have issues with overheating very easily. I can be sitting and have what I consider episodes akin to a hot flush. I'm only 33, so don't believe it could be menopause, though I suppose I cannot rule this out entirely.

I have issues with anxiety which has massively affected employment in the past. I'm currently at university, and looking to start part time work as I think I'm in the right head space at this point.

My main concern is that all the roles available to me would be in retail/hospitality/care. I've worked in these roles before, however have left them as I am incredibly embarrassed about my excessive sweating when doing anything remotely physical. I'm talking unloading a delivery, and looking like I have been swimming. My hair is soaked. It's mortifying. Dealing with the public knowing I look an absolute mess is humiliating, and it further increases my anxiety. Ultimately, I leave roles because my mental health takes a swan dive and I can't cope.

I have been on a myriad of different antidepressants, including betablockers, which didn't help. I want to go back to a GP to discuss the excessive sweating but don't want to be fobbed off. I'm a healthy weight, relatively fit, so just don't understand. I use a Mitchum antiperspirant which works a dream for my armpits, but clearly I can't lather that all over my face and scalp!

Does anyone know if there is medication that exists to combat excessive sweating? The idea of going back to work and repeating the anxiety/depression cycle owing to this is completely demoralising. TIA.

Acupuncture cured mine! I had also been put on beta blockers which made me feel like I was dying.

5/6 sessions of acupuncture and it's never returned, and that's been over ten years now.

As above, sounds the same as me, over active thyroid. Get a full blood test done.
