Urgent - excruciating dental pain.

Hi i am just looking for some advice because I am end of my tether here.

I was recently discharged from hospital (Wednesday morning, ongoing kidney issues which I've had for 15 years and is managed).

When I am ill like that I often get a flare up of mouth ulcers afterwards. But I have woken this morning and my entire mouth, gums, tongue cheek are covered in them. They are excruciating. I did a saline mouth wash and my mouth was covered in blood. I can't eat or drink, even walking is painful as any sort of motion hurts.

My dentist cannot see me until Monday.. my GP isnt even answering.... I rang the emergency community dentist number but they said I am not eligible as its a service for patients not registered with an NHS dentist.
Does anyone know what i can do to help find some relief?

Do you have a dental hospital in your area?

Yes, Manchester University Dental Hospital but since covid they don't do the 'drop in' emergency service.... they require a referal from the Comnunity Urgent Dental Care Service and they said I am not eligible as i am registered with a NHS dentist... (even tho i have told them i cant get an emergency appointment until monday).

Honestly if the pain doesn't subsidise i will consider A&E but it feels wrong to go there for mouth ulcers!!!

If you can’t get a dentist, go to A&E for pain relief.(A&E dr hear and I’d be happy to see you x).
