Hi, for the past few weeks I've been having random dizzy spells and I have no idea what's causing them. Had a full blood count done at GP, had blood pressure checked & ears all checked but everything was normal. It started again about an hour ago, I was sitting down with my little boy and i just suddenly felt like I couldn't breathe properly, I then started sweating really bad and the dizziness happened. Now an hour later I'm still lying on the sofa, heart rate hasn't dropped below 100 since then, still feel like I can't breathe (oxygen levels are bouncing from 96-98) and now feel super tired like I've not slept in days! Has anyone had this before? I feel completely wiped out!

If it is anxiety, there may be things that can offer which help with that, too…

@watermelonsugar11 sounds like you've had a tough time I'm sorry your struggling with having people to talk to about it. You might benefit some counselling/therapy.
Another good thing for my anxiety attacks are podcasts not sure if I'm allowed to mention here but I find no holes barred hilarious and I don't have to have full concentration to listen to it

My first thought was panic attack. I get them completely out of the blue when all is well and I feel safe. When I'm in a bad/stressful/dangerous situation the panic is nowhere to be seen, it strikes when I least expect it.

Look up vestibular migraine and PPPD, I have them and it's the cause of my dizziness x

Have you recently stopped breastfeeding? I had all kinds of anxiety issues which lasted about a year after I stopped. It was just my hormones settling, and I haven't had any issues since.

@vitahelp yeah that sounds quite similar to me actually! Whenever I'm calm/relaxed they'll happen but if I'm in a stressful situation I'm yet to have one!

@PaddleBoardingMomma I'll look them up now thank you, is there treatment for them? X

No, I unfortunately didn't get to breastfeed :( my little boy is 2 in august so I would have thought anything hormonal from childbirth would have gone by now x
