Can you get blood tests anywhere other than GP?

DD is almost definitely anaemic (all the symptoms) but I'd rather she was tested. Getting a GP appt is really hard as she is at college all week and the appts are pretty scarce as it is. She is getting very tired and dizzy so I think she might need medication. Is there somewhere else she can go even if we have to pay?

You can have a consultation with a private GP who can then request blood tests for you. I believe private blood tests can be quite expensive but I'm sure there's probably more flexibility in appointments.

I have used www.londonmedicallaboratory.com/product-category/general-health before -- we live close to one of their sites so we went in for a test but they do also do them via post.

Some pharmacies offer blood tests. But she’ll need to see a go for treatment and they might still want to do their own tests anyway.
I used this company with the hood drawn at a local pharmacy

Hospital?

A lot of private clinics test for anaemia. Even places like boots or Superdrug's. Ferrograd-C can help in the meantime and can be bought in any pharmacy. I've used it for years to keep my iron levels up. The only time I've needed a more serious intervention was after serious blood loss during childbirth when I needed a transfusion. My GP also prescribes the pill with one break every 4 months instead of monthly to reduce anaemia.
