Pain in back of head for a week

Hi all.
I'm not sure if this is something that I should be concerned about.

3 weeks ago I developed neck pain out of nowhere that was so bad I couldn't sleep. Used heat pack and cream and took ibuprofen for 2 weeks and nothing helped and eventually it transferred to the other side of my neck so i gave up and went to a physiotherapist who diagnosed me with inflammation of the tissue between my neck vertebrae. He said this was common and not a cause for concern, did a treatment massage and gave me exercises. It got worse then better. Had a second treatment from him last week and now it is gone. That was a big relief however for the last week I have been getting a pain in the back side of my head. Slightly off centre to the right. It feels like I've banged it. It is in such a specific place. It comes and goes throughout the day but often comes on if I stand up too quickly. This evening it is just there, constantly bothering me. It is not hugely painful, it's just irksome and the fact it's there and so strange is worrying me a bit. It had just started last week when I went to the physio so I mentioned it and he dismissed it sayinf something like "oh yes tension in the neck can cause headaches" but it isn't a headache like I've ever had before.
I don't have any other symptoms besides being absolutely exhausted but I have had a more tiring week than usual with various stresses so could be I am just tired.
I work full time and doctors appointments are a nightmare but don't know whether it's worth trying for one. Has anyone experienced similar when dealing with back/ neck pain?

If there is neck pain and pain in the back of the head, it could be a trapped nerve. Continue with ibuprofen, paracetamol, heat pack/ice and physio exercises. It should get better in a few weeks. If it is constantly bothering you, you can see the GP about getting painkillers for potential nerve pain. Hope this helps!
