Hi, Has anyone else had this experience? Had covid back in November and since then have been suffering lots of pain in both my hips and lower back. It doesn't seem to be getting any better and am finding my sleep disturbed every night due to the pain. I am also finding walking difficult feeling my hip pain on every step. Any advice?

I'd go to an osteopath (not a chiropractor).

Bloody hell. I am. I never connected it to covid but I had covid at the same time and developed the same pain around than which is ongoing.

I do find ibuprofen helps when it's especially bad.

As in - I also had covid last November.

I had covid in January and my good hip (o had a replacement in my bad hip 11 years ago) has started to hurt and the corresponding back pain too....never linked it to covid?

How old are you?
After WFH and being more sedentary during the last 2 years my hips and knees are both buggered.

I'm in my early forties. Unfortunately no sedentary lifestyle over the last two years as work with children and always on the go. Just wondered if anyone else has encountered this. Will definitely look into an osteopath!

This is an interesting point as Ive been suffering what I thought was pelvic pain including lower back pain over the last few months and we all had covid in February. I hadn't even thought to connect it. Do you know if its definitely linked in your case? Ive been referred to gynaecology (with an nhs waiting list that I cant even get booked onto at the moment).

Hi, I was in a similar circumstance few months ago after recovering from COVID. It started with a tremendous back discomfort that spread throughout my entire lower body, and I couldn't sleep at many nights because of it. I also wondered if it was due to the travel I had to do a few days ago, during which I had to move and lift some hefty weight. The agony was unbearable. I thought it was a muscular strain, so I took a few topical pain relievers. However, the discomfort, heaviness, and tenderness remained. I checked with one of my coworkers who complained of having a similar predicament and currently doing much better. He recommended me to try massage therapy, which I began with the support of a experienced professional nearby. I couldn't believe my back's shooting agony lowered and had completely vanished in the course of time. I've been continuing these massage therapies for about two months now and highly suggest it, as its highly relaxing and refreshing.
