Should I worry about toxoplasmosis?

So I have anxiety and I’m trying to convince myself that what happened today isn’t a big deal and I should just forget about it.
So my husband planted a lot of flowers and left them inside, he used compost. I have two birds that like to get in the compost they thing anything green is food. Anyway I went to take the birds out of the room and they managed to scratch my arm... now I’m worried that they had some of that compost under their nails and that gave me toxoplasmosis. What are the chances of that compost having toxo and the birds getting that under their nails?? I had an 31 week ultrasound because I was worried about eating an undercooked hamburger a month ago and everything was perfect with baby at the ultrasound. Now I’m 32 weeks..Kind of sounds ridiculous, the nurse said toxo is extremely rare so why am I freaking out so much. Also from what I read it’s more dangerous in early pregnancy and if something happens it will hopefully be mild

The soil would need to be contaminated with cat faeces. If it was compost from a bag that's vanishingly unlikely.

I’m not sure if compost from the bag could even be contaminated. Did the bird even break the skin badly enough to get traces of compost in your wound? Try not to worry OP, I don’t think there is any risk of toxoplasmosis here. You can’t help worrying or how you feel, but just try and logically explain to yourself that there isn’t a real risk here at all. Toxoplasmosis is very rare, incredibly unlikely in this situation, and would be unlikely to cause major problems even if you did catch it as you are so far into your pregnancy.

Yea that’s what I thought, thanks that makes me feel a lot better.

Thanks for responding. I also think the risk is unlikely but wanted to see if y’all thought the same. The scratch didn’t cause bleeding, but definitely took some skin off and left a mark. Even thinking about it it seems so unlikely... I mean you can easily get toxo from a fruit or veggie that hasn’t been properly washed and if that was likely we would be hearing about it all the time.
