Am I worrying for nothing

A few days ago I was in the bath an felt a stinging sensation on my right breast area close to my armpit. When I looked it was red. I just assumed water was abit too hot and never gave it a second thought. Was in the bath again last night and the same thing happened in the same place. I looked again an it was red. I waited until I was out the bath and left it a few hours an the red patch was still there. It is still there today and the skin feels quite rough. I cant for the life of me think of anything that could have possibly caused any trauma to the skin so obviously my mind is going a million miles an hour assuming the worst.

I have attached a picture, hope it works.

I am going to call the doctor first thing monday morning but just after abit of reassurance.
Thanks in advance

@MrsDSalvatore I'm unsure if it's anything sinister but as it's your breast and it's happened repeatedly I would get an appointment on Monday. I've had several issues with mine, had it checked every time (mammogram and ultrasound for inverted nipples and lumps) and been fine every time. They always say to get it checked every time but also that a big majority that go into the breast clinic are cases which are nothing to worry about. They've always been able to tell me there and then the outcome too.
Let us know what the doctor says.

Best to get it checked out.

The closes I can get is when I used Aldi washing powder. My skin did not like that.

Thank you both for your replies. I am going to get it checked out asap. I know I shouldn't worry until theres's something to worry about, but I suppose its human nature to. Google doesn't help.
Will let you know what the doctor says.

Thanks again
