Verruca?

Just wondering if this is a verruca? Never had one in my life, since having had covid i have had eye infection after eye infection, shingles, colds and now this. Pre covid at December I was lucky enough to never suffer with anything. Have had a Google and I think it is a verruca but wondered if anyone could perhaps clarify. Sorry for the ugly feet photos!

@Chocolateandmintcronuts yep that's a verruca

It looks like it. Is it uncomfortable if you poke it?

I'd recommend silver nitrate. We tried everything to get rid of DD's verrucas - her feet are VV sweaty & the bazuka stuff wouldn't stick. Banana peel was no good as plasters wouldn't stick. Ditto nail polish, everything else we tried. This stuff sort of sinks in. It worked on mine years ago too, mine were right blighters & resisted everything else although my feet aren't sweaty at all. No filing or freezing required with this, just apply, leave until it drops off, then reapply if necessary. Not too uncomfortable. It does stain though, wear black socks, even in bed! And get a shower mat or you'll stain your shower tray/bath.

Ergh. Thank you both. Will get some silver nitrate, thank you @EatSleepReplete. Banana peel? 🤪 am just going to Google that and see what that’s about! But yes, I can see how a plaster wouldn’t stick to that! 🤣

If you can dig the little black dots out then it should disappear on its own. I have two and have had for years but can never see black dots (I think they're blood vessels/roots?) and have recently started taking thuja which seems to be having an effect.

I have one the same place. Hard to get rid of however I am trying a new trick I have read about. Put a piece of gaffa tape over it. Take it off when washing but replace immediately with a fresh bit. Apparently as the air can't get to it it heals. I'm 3 days in....
