Do I need to do anything about this, or will it resolve?

Pop it with a video please.

RebeccaCloud9 · 20/03/2022 11:02

(but seriously, don't know if that'd be best for you, wait til someone has better advice!)

Tittyfilarious · 20/03/2022 11:03

I'd pop it with a needle then put some antiseptic on and a plaster .

singlepringlenotbychoice · 20/03/2022 11:05

Soak it in warm salted water, get the splinter out and put some antiseptic cream on.

Gonnagetgoing · 20/03/2022 11:05

Sporners corner and video!

Quartz2208 · 20/03/2022 11:05

no that needs to be removed - probably now as it is infected by a medical professional

ididntevennotice · 20/03/2022 11:05

I would put mag sulph on it and dress it to draw it out.

YouBoggleMyMind · 20/03/2022 11:06

Mag sulphate to draw it out and then an antiseptic cream after.

Steala · 20/03/2022 11:13

Thank you. The mag sulphate option is so much more attractive to me than a needle (sorry to the popping enthusiasts).

If you can get the ring off I'd do that just in case.

I'd stick a pin in it and the splinter will probably come out with the pus.

ChloeHel · 20/03/2022 21:50

Doesn’t look too infected as the redness is still local. As PP have said - pop to the pharmacy and get some magnesium sulfate.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 20/03/2022 21:53

Soak it in hot water and give it a squeeze.
