Low peak flow and dizziness

I’m really worried my doctor has missed something so I’d be really grateful to hear what other people think.

I had covid a few weeks ago. It was my third time having it and it seemed quite mild in comparison to my previous experiences. I don’t think I was really over having it the second time back last September as I’ve been quite lightheaded since then so I was surprised to have such few symptoms this time around. Then, 2+ weeks after the positive test I developed a chesty cough. I went to see the doctor last Friday who said I had tachycardia, low blood pressure and a peak flow of 130. They initially suggested a D Dimer but then changed their mind and prescribed antibiotics. I’ve been on the antibiotics for 4 days but I feel more breathless and have painful ribs on the right hand side and a tight chest. I feel dizzy and breathless whenever I do anything more than resting. I went back to the doctor today and my best peak flow was still 130. The doctor said this is likely due to covid and it could take 8 weeks to get better. I feel like something is really wrong but I don’t think the doctor will be happy with me calling them up again.

Am I just being unnecessarily anxious or should I be asking the GP for further checks?

Have they done any blood tests at all? I’m sure I’ve read somewhere about people having low iron after covid. Low iron can cause dizziness.

Yes, they did test for iron and also thyroid last week. They were normal.
