Eyes stinging and watering every morning and evening

I'm not sure why this happens, been happening for about a month. If I am doing my morning walk the eyes start watering and really hurt. so it starts with stinging feeling. it also sometimes happens in the evenings. Do I have dry eyes, and do I need to see an optician? or GP? otr speak to a pharmacist?

I wear glassses daily and my eye test was less than a year ago. thanks

is it from too much computer use?

Could it be hayfever? Tree pollen starts in Feb.

I’d try an antihistamine or allergy eye drops - go for something like OPTICROM rather than the herbal type.

I had this and it was ocular rosacea. It's characterised by redness and tiny blisters on the inside of your eyelids. Probably more likely to be hay fever though - have you had it before, or moved to a new area recently?

Sjogrens? Do you have any auto immune diseases?

Could be hay fever paired with some dry eye symptoms. Hay fever can start a lot earlier than people tend to think. I would try an antihistamine and some nice soothing eye drops and maybe get an opticians appointment in the mean time just to make sure nothing else going on.

I had similar and it was my moisturiser. It was SPF 15 and also had a scent. I was accidentally rubbing it in my eyes during the day.

If it starts on your morning walk, I would guess hayfever.
Try taking an antihistamine before you go out. Or AH eye drops.

I thought hayfever too. Mine started end of Feb.

They sell some really nice drops and lubricants for dry eyes at the pharmacy. Very cost effective first step.
Computer use, decreased blinking can cause dry eyes.

I see, thank you all. It happened today at the evenings during using the computer. I will try antihistamine and eye drops great idea. if doesn't help then I think back for an eye test
