PSA levels …any nurses / Drs understand these results?

My husband has been referred to a urologist His PSA is 3.5 and he is in his 60s …can anyone give me any clues please?

Many things can affect PSA.
Infection, cycling, large prostate to name a few.
If he has a family history of prostate cancer or breast cancer he could be at risk of prostate cancer.
It is good that he has been referred to a urologist as they will determine whether there is anything to worry about.
