Always cold

Hi any advice on why I am always cold. Today the weather isn't as bad as it has been recently and I am trying to keep the heating off as much as possible now. But I am freezing I wear fleece socks and jumpers everyday. But I have noticed that when I wake up I am sweaty around my neck and chest most mornings.
It's getting where I can't do anything other then sit there with a blanket.

Any advice

Sal

Not sure, but to me it feels like it has been super cold out and I am also always cold. So it could just be that it is cold out. However, I think waking up sweaty is not normal....check with your GP. It could be sleep aponia, changing hormones etc.

Could you be anaemic? I know that when I’m suffering from anaemia I am so cold and just can’t warm up, no matter how many layers of clothes, socks, gloves I have on.

Hi I had bloods done last year and nurse rung and said I needed to take 5mg of folic acid for 3 months. Did that didn't feel any less tired with the tablets tho.
I have spoken to the Dr about sweats at night and she said is the bedding wet and I said no so not menopause apparently but I am 39 so not really expecting that just yet. I had rung because of a lump in my neck.
Might have to try again with the Dr's can't get a face to face but a telephone one should be OK.

Thank you

Sal

If you have a lump on your neck get a face to face for sure! Hopefully all is okay.

How well do you warm up when doing housework ( vacuuming) or go for a 1 hour walk, OP?

I don'nt think we're supposed to feel warm when just sitting around unless the air temp is > 20.

You need a face to face appointment OP. Night sweats and a raised lymph node need looking at ASAP.
