Vitamins but can’t swallow tablets

Meant to ask this at the start of the pandemic but have only just got round to it. I want to take daily vitamins but there’s so many out there I have no idea what I’m doing. This is further complicated by the fact I can’t swallow tablets so I’d need chewable or a spray or a syrup.

I had a vitamin D spray from Holland and Barrett and some of those big orange vitamin c and zinc fizzy tablets in a tube (the ones you dissolve in water and drink) but a friend told me that those are useless and just placebos.

So what is good? Is there anything I can take that’s good if I can’t do tablets? I’m mostly after a multivitamin but have a lot of anxiety about covid (am fully vaccinated) so would like some relevant to fighting that as I think daily vitamins may help lessen the anxiety.

Thanks for any help you can offer

Aldi do a kids chewable multivitamin, tutti fruiti flavour, which is good value and includes iron, zinc and iodine.
Otherwise look on Amazon for chewable, most of the jelly type ones are just vitamins though, no minerals.

BetterYou do loads of vitamin sprays.

I have a similar problem also because vitamin tablets are usually huge, so I get all mine in a fizzy tablet form. Not sure why your friend said they are useless.

Superdrug used to do a soft, gummy multivitamin. They didn't have it last time I went into the shop, but I think that was just a supply issue.

Thank you so much everyone. So the Better You sprays are effective? My friend said unless it was a brand like Solgar and something else I don’t remember then they weren’t worth taking and you may as well be eating sweets. I kinda trusted her because she’s big into health and fitness but if the sprays are good then I’ll go for those.

Dd takes adult bassetts gummy ones, some of the vitamins has better levels than my ones, I'm tempted to switch.

Came on to say Better You sprays, as previous poster suggested. They are a reputable brand.

Hi OP, my niece can't take tablets because she was born with tracheal esophageal fistula (TOFS) so she uses Nature's Aid liquid vitamin D3. It is in coconut oil (but not the solid form) and she finds it really effective and easy to manage. Buys it online (Amazon). D3 is thought to be effective in fighting covid, I believe.

The Bassets gummies are really nice!
