nope, deffo not but my dd is somewhat prone to chest problems and wheezing.

she had a chest infection a couple of weeks ago with ABs. last Fri DM took her to Kew as we had an American visitor who wanted to go.

it was bitter cold but dd was wrapped up well and had been reasonably well all week.

Friday night she was coughing herself sick, struggling to breathe etc etc.

Hospital Saturday. Saturday night same thing. Hospital Sunday and we're back on an inhaler now.

She's barely been out of the house all week and is still wheezy and coughing like mad.

Break out the DVDs and arts stuff, put the heating back on and stay indoors!

warm diluted apple juice or warm milk with a spoonful of honey really helps to ease the tubes and a humidifier at night helps too.

HTH

If it's a proper chest infection, then no. I was confined to quarters with DS for about two weeks when he had bronchiolitis so I know it's no fun being indoors all day, thank heavens for CBeebies

Is it a proper chest infection, temperature, child sleeping odd hours, not eating, really wheezing etc?
But anyway, no.
