Not coping well - have done lots of pelvic floor stuff but has made no difference - Dr said to go back if I felt I couldn't cope with it any more - I think I am there but don't know what it involves.

I haven't had one corrected, but do have a prolapsed bladder and have been told the same thing, pelvic floor exercises also making not much difference, so i can sympathise, not much use though i know

I have been trying to deal with it as really think I may like another baby and wouldn't want to undo the hard work however - with things the way they are getting pregnant would be a miracle the like we haven't seen for 2000 years so catch 22!

i haven't had one corrected either but my gp thinks i have a prolapsed bowel and has referred me to a gynaecologist.

I had a prolapsed uterus and vaginal wall. was told it wasn't too bad but it certainly felt it and i felt i couldn't cope with it. I've been using a device called femetone, which does the pelvic floor stuff for you. equivalent of 500 done properly per session. also seen physio at hospital. not cured but considerably better, year and a half on.

Thanks for all your honesty - does anyone know how an operation would work if I went down that route?

They really don't want to do surgery if you want to have more children as it just undoes the good work - have they offered you a ring pessary?
