Mammoth verruca?

My son has just shown me this in the sole of his foot. It's a huge nest of verrucas isn't it? Any recommendations as to what we should do?

I feel very bad it's got so large without me noticing it. I tend not to spend much time near DS feet and he's not mentioned it before now. He says it does not hurt but when pressed says it is sometimes uncomfortable when he is walking ...

@imasurvivor2 - it was small tablets, like the arnica sugar pills

You need a podiatrist for that.

Brilliant thanks so much- we'll give that a go! We've tried duct tape and the scholl pen but they're still there Confused

My dd was stuck with verrucas for years, in the end we took her to a podiatrist and they used a microwave treatment (swift) - she didn't even feel it- and one treatment got rid of them. Hers were tiny and dotted around though so you'd probably need more treatments for a big one but hers went and we'd tried everything else including bazuka and the thuja tablets and nothing had worked. Be prepared to pay a bit though, one treatment was £150!

Another vote for Thuja here 😊 I had a cluster covering the whole of the bottom of my heel, doctors said they would eventually go away - had them from age 8 to age 21-ish. Eventually got referred to a specialist who said surgery to cut them out wouldn’t be advised due to the size of the area. He recommended thuja tincture which I got online. Consistently applied twice a day and in less than 6 months they were gone!

Foot specialist here. Don’t bother with Dr, it needs preparing and treating by a Podiatrist or Foot health professional. It is a mosiac verruca. HTH.

I was just coming on to say it's a mosaic verruca but the professional beat me to it.Smile

I woul use zinc oxide tape rather than duct tape, it sticks better

Thanks again everyone. We have an appointment at the podiatrist booked for Saturday...
