Take her to your surgery now, as an urgent appointment if you can. She might well be dehydrated. If they won't see her, try a and e at the hospital x

TinselTrace2 · 14/12/2007 14:19

no all come back up

Is she hot, by the way?

You need to act fast with a tiny like this.

POOKAingwenceslaslookedout · 14/12/2007 14:20

GP/A&E. If nappies dry and she's vomiting bile she needs to be seen pronto.

TinselTrace2 · 14/12/2007 14:20

ringing now

I would be worried about dehydration. I would try to get any fluid down her (except milk). And I would go to a doctor. If she is a sucker will she suck a wet cloth in the meantime? Should be just water with such an upset stomach but as dehydration is so dangerous -- something to make it taste nicer? NOT A DOCTOR.

POOKAingwenceslaslookedout · 14/12/2007 14:21

If you have no joy from GP, do go to A&E.

TinselTrace2 · 14/12/2007 14:22

going to gp ill let you know

Did you get through? It is really urgent with a small baby. She needs to be looked at right now, A&E will be able to help, she could need a drip to rehydrate. Don't panic, just act quickly.

TwinklyfLightAttendant · 14/12/2007 14:23

OK, good luck xx don't take no for an answer.

Hope your DD is feeling better tomorrow - well done on getting her seen so quickly.
Is so sad in the childrens wards - your DD will get the best care though.

Oh just caught up with this, I am so sorry, I hope she will be much improved after some rehydration. They can work wonders with a drip, she will be Ok xx

fwiw, my best friend's baby had a similar thing about 6 months ago, he was kept in for a little while and allowed home, he was fine in the end. He was about 7 months old at the time.

JingleBelgoHoHoHo · 15/12/2007 06:55

hope she's better today Trace. You did the right thing getting her to hospital. A drip to get fluids into her is the best thing - my dd2 had this when she was 17 months old, she had the drip for three nights in hospital.

nowbringussomeJammypudding · 15/12/2007 07:02

Hope things are OK with Chloe, and take care yourself
