I dont know what is happening to me, been on my feet the whole day, and now as I am sitting here, I am tight around the chest, feel quite faint and strange, I should probably get to bed. It is like my body suddenly has pins and needles, even my lips, scared now

yes, you can. particularly if you have a strong family history, you drink more than you should or you are overweight.

moondog · 13/12/2007 23:24

I am sure that this is just stress or tiredness but please get someone to come round or phone NHS direct - It is not worth leaving something like this because it's probably nothing and if you weren't a little concerned you wouldn't have posted - please call someone

QuintessentialShadowOfSnowball · 13/12/2007 23:36

Hi I am here. My husband is home. I think I am stressed, dehydrated, been very busy today and dont think I have had enough to drink. My neck and shoulder muscles are rock solid. My husband has offered me a massage, and then straight to bed. thansk for your concern

exactly mummy2TandF.

even a quick BP test would set your mind at rest.

dont leave it.

but FWIW i have had similar feeling lately, but i KNOW mine is due to panic attacks/stress related.

PortAndLemonaid · 13/12/2007 23:39

Don't leave it, you should call a doctor or NHS direct at the very least.

QuintessentialShadowOfSnowball · 13/12/2007 23:40

Think I shall get a gp apt in the morning as I have pain in my feet I need to talk to him about.

Thanks. I shall log off now, so do not be concerned if you dont see me more tonight.

Thanks again.

Sounds to me like you were hyperventilating slightly, which causes all the tingling etc, usually felt in panic attacks. You should maybe mention it to your GP but I think they are more concerned if you feel like that on exertion.

Is your heart beating irregularly or very quickly? Palpitations are very common even if young and fit. Lie down for a bit and have a glass of water. Maybe you have a bit of low blood pressure?
