Sleep

I've never had a problem sleeping. I'm one of those out like a light as soon as my head hits the pillow types. (Which I actually credit my parents for, who insisted on regular bedtimes and a good bedtime routine and which I've always maintained).

However, recently I'm waking about 4am and not being able to get back to sleep. It's not that I've had enough sleep, I'm shattered.

Is there any "help"? All the usual advice is around things that help you go to sleep in the first place, not things you can do at 4am

Maybe here's a noise at that time that you're not aware of. Can you try ear plugs?

Do you realise how patronising this is to people who struggle with sleeping?! If only they'd had regular bedtimes and a good bedtime routine eh? Hmm

There's lots of advice if you Google "how to stop waking up in the middle of the night" e.g.

Could be the clock change.since the clocks changed,I wake up at 5 every morning.it usually gets back to normal waking up after a month.i am lucky,as I can easily nap for just 5 minutes during the day.
