Neck issue

Ok will start by saying my wedding is this coming week and I've managed to hurt my neck/shoulder and don't know what to do!
Yesterday morning I stretched and felt something for ping in my shoulder/neck. Took some paracetamol during the day and had a warm bath and it got slightly better by bed time.
This morning woke up and it's very stiff again, taken paracetamol again today and have more movement but it's still stiff and painful!

It feels like if you've slept in a draft. I have no mobility issues with any other part of my body or pins and needles so confident it's a pulled muscle type of thing BUT I get married this week and don't want to be walking round in pain. Is there anything that I can do to help that anyone knows of to speed up healing?

Thanks in advance

If you go to the doctors they can give you a muscle relaxer to help the pain. Also a deep heat spray/tiger balm type thing can really help. Hope it goes quickly for you!

Get yourself to an osteopath or a sports physio that does massage.

I have had this recently. Things that worked for me were sleeping with one shaped pillow that supported my neck, a tens machine, deep heat or diclofenac gel, painkillers at night. The tens machine was the best.

Alternate with an ice pack too.

Physio

Buy a home massager it worked wonders for me.

Go to an osteopath, takennurofen not paracetamol, nurofen/ibuprofen will reduce inflammation.

Thanks all. Alternating between icing and heating. Also had a long bath which has loosened it.

Typical it happens this weekend of all weekends!!!

It'll probably be easily sorted by an osteopath or physio.
